Granite

Hard wearing, heat resistant and unique to every slab. Browse our granite colours below.

Granite is an Igneous rock which is formed when magma (molten rock) cools and solidifies. It is made up predominantly of minerals such as feldspar, mica and quartz.

The colours and structures of Granite differ depending on the types of molten rock and the way the crystals form when cooled. Granite is used mainly for work surfaces due to its durability and the magnificent colours which appear when it is polished. We also use Granite for the external cladding of buildings, due to its ability to withstand all that nature can throw at it, even in its polished state.
